Born in Middlesbrough England, Lauren Garbutt moved to Canada when she was a baby (no accent unfortunately). Now at 19 she has engaged herself to the local Niagara music scene and has brought her camera along with her. Mainly focused on concert photography she also likes to take nature shots and doument her travels abroad.

For the last year Lauren has acted as photographer for Jason Dilio, a local promoter, while also attending numerous other shows and taking photos for bands. She has done some work with Audioblood and some promotional work for local acts. She plans on continuing this further, along with being a regular contributer to WGTS.

Lauren also enjoys travelling, writing and and falling asleep to Radiohead and Godspeed You Black Emperor. Apart from blinding musicians and friends, she also attends Brock University for the Environment. She hopes to save the world...or at least a part of it...and pass statistics.
